I hace been thinking on upgrading as well - but I am not sure if it is worth it until I move into a new place or not.
I went with my mom to Best Buy this weekend to get my dad his birthday/Father's day present which was this:While she was taking care of that deal, I went over and looked at the home audio speakers and when I turned on the JBL's, I was like holy shit these are bad ass! There were having a "20% off all JBL speaker sale." I have some money in savings, that's supposed to be for a new car in a couple years, but I was also in need of some new speakers and a receiver. So after a lot of debating, I went home with this:

I don't have the subwoofer yet b/c I had to order it. I didn't get any bookshelf speakers or a center speaker yet b/c this stuff is going in my small room and it'll be plenty for now.
